The Guardian say: one of ‘the seven apps every woman should own’
We’re Kim Palmer and Annie Ridout, co-founders of Clementine. A few years ago, Kim was feeling bad. Her anxiety had rocketed and she wasn’t coping. Work presentations were becoming unbearable, even meetings were difficult. Meanwhile she had a young son, Louis, to look after. She needed to make some changes.
She was introduced to Georgia Foster, an internationally renowned clinical hypnotherapist. Georgia’s soothing voice, positivity and practical tools completely changed Kim’s life. Things started to look up. She then realised she could help other women who felt like her (overwhelmed by the daily grind).
And so she started developing Clementine: an app by women, for women who want to radiate confidence but are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem or just feeling overwhelmed by life’s stresses. Kim brought Annie onboard and together, they’ve created an app that is clever, sharp and aesthetically on-point.
Clementine is not a spiritual, hippie app – it’s for the modern woman. And it works. It will help you to sleep better, feel calmer and be your best self. It includes a range of hypnotherapy sessions, as well as the option for daily mantras to pop up on your phone, giving you an instant boost.
It’s been featured in The Guardian (as one of ‘the seven apps every woman should own’), the Telegraph - and on multiple influential blogs. Off the back of it, Kim won the Women of Tomorrow Awards. Together, Kim and Annie would like to help turn other women’s lives around…
Each recording deals directly with moments when you might need help most…
● Use the five-minute ‘Confidence boost’ to start the day or before a big meeting.
● Try the five-minute ‘Reset’ when you’re on the brink of a mini meltdown at home or work.
● The 16-minute ‘Power nap’ will help you to catch up on sleep after a terrible night.

Ratings and Reviews
Great at helping me relax...realistically!
I really love this app - two kids and a busy job means that I can’t take time out to do the relaxing things I did previously. I decided to try Clementine after doing hypnobirthing with baby number two (which sort of worked!) but a lot of midfulness apps felt too slow or not suited to the odd bits of time I have available. Clementine is perfect to snack on, the variety of sessions really suit me and can be applied to business/home with the kids settings.
I do find the music a bit off putting but it can be switched off so not a problem. Would love to have an option to ‘favourite’ certain sessions so that I can access them even more easily (possibly me just being lazy though).
Quite nice but I am irritated by the cancellation
So I wanted to see what this did as I advise people on anxiety issues, I took it out as a trial and it's nice and useful.
But it's quite pricey for the people I see as £5.99 pm is not negligible for the poor and unemployed in UK where I work.
Then I had to figure out how to cancel it. That's not easy...part of the problem here is with the way the App Store has it on a page which is a bit ambiguous. However getting an email from Clementine that seems to read that I still need to cancel it meant I had to go through the whole malarkey again (a couple of weeks later so had forgotten details and had to take the time to look it up again) which is a very annoying thing for a soothing app to do?

Thanks so much for your feedback - this is really helpful as we are still evolving Clementine so thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry the process of cancelling the subscription with Apple has been so frustrating. I'm looking into a more simple solution that is less confusing for people. You are absolutely right - what we don't want to do is add more pressure when the app is all about creating a sense of calm.
Thanks again, Kim - Founder.
I downloaded this app ages ago and I didn’t use it (probably because it was subscription based). I’m a 17 year old, who has resit her first year at college due to stress and exhaustion. One day, for college, I was assigned a task of download an app which can help you with your studies. I’m quite an organised student so I don’t need organisational apps that’s when I found this app, again. I struggle sleeping so this app does a great job at getting me to sleep. I still wake up a lot during the night but I put on another one and I’m soon asleep again. I feel more refreshed when using this app and I get more productive revision done.

Hi there - Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review - it's so helpful to understand how women are using Clementine. It's also really great to hear how much Clementine is helping you with your sleep which in turn helps you with your studies. It's a super stressful time of life for you so it's awesome that we can help you even just a little during this time. Best wishes, Kim.
