Control and quality guaranteed
I honestly didn’t think I would find someone serious on this site and took over three months thinking about opening an account. Then when I did; it kicked me out for verification but the support person John was very professional and prompt in responding to the email exchanges. And in a couple of days my profile was verified and back on. Now I appreciate that extra step because it ensures control and quality of members which is hard in this era of internet scams and frauds. The downside; there isn’t too much information on the beans system hahaha...I would recommend this app, just as my friend recommended it. Thanks for getting me my happiness CMB👍👌
Good concept poor execution
On the plus side the idea behind the app of encouraging people to be more discerning rather than just ego swiping or cat-fishing people is great.
On the down side it’s very expensive to buy a membership which also requires you on top of membership to buy their own currency (‘beans’) to interact with matches. It is also extremely buggy so for example my profile was blocked for no reason just after joining which took several unanswered requests for assistance before someone finally responded and sorted the problem. Then two weeks after setting up my profile as a man seeking a woman half my matches started being men. This time no response at all from customer service.
CMB has reportedly received $8.4million in seed capital but most of that seems to have been spent on sending the customer service team in an extended round the world cruise.
As dehumanising as Tinder and even Bumble are at least the tech works which is more than can be said for CMB.
Deleted membership.
Very dodgy and limited
Even if you pay and it’s not expensive they limit you extensively and force you to keep paying more.
If you are a paid member they present with you 5-8 options daily and it can take a long time to find even one you want to match.
They only allow you 8 likes per month as a paid member and then they force you to pay for as a paid member this is ridiculous. If I am a paid member let me like as many as I want.
They also control who you can see as search results show only a tiny selection that they decide and after you used your 8 likes you have to wait a month to like anyone again it’s more than £5 per like insane.
And you can’t favourite anyone in the search results so they are impossible to find later if you like them but are out of likes.
Finally as they want to control everything and treat us like we are babies they limit how long you can talk in the chat with you matches.
Worst dating app.
If I pay let me like as many as I want. Let the search results show me all results that match. Let me decide when and how long I take to chat to my matches.
They obviously do this as if it was open like other apps like hinge you would like the profiles they have in a day and leave quickly this way they keep people on longer.
This is made for them to milk your purse not to help you find good dating options.
Hinge is much better.
