Not happy

Have been reading the online edition and subscribe through apple for many years now but I seen there was an update and thought no I’m not doing it , then I thought go for it , big mistake, now I cannot read the paper ( I’m housebound so I rely on this paper sp much ) even after restoring purchases I still cannot read I’ve reinstalled and uninstalled and still I cannot read it , I feel I’m being ripped off now,
November 18th and again I’ve been unable to read the paper since the last update when I click to read the newspaper it takes me to the login page which you don’t need to do as it’s through iOS but it says you can restore purchases but there is no button for it , but to make matters worse I’ve sent 3 emails to the gazette help desk and still have had no reply I also emailed the app maker but still no reply, why do we have this time and time again , having to pay for a product that you cannot use , I think it’s time to cancel !

Thanks you for your feedback. Unfortunately we experienced a temporary technical issue with in-app subscriptions with the latest update. This has now been resolved.
If you can please try tapping the Restore button on the Subscriptions window, you should once again be able to access your subscription.

Subscription not recognised. No support

Twice this year I have been unable to access the app version for days on end. Support staff ignore my regular requests to restore access to the app. I even wrote to the editor but am yet to receive a reply. It is ok when you can get in, but their attitude to reported faults is beyond frustrating.

Sorry for the delay, due to a technical issue with the app we have released an updated version to amend the issue. Please visit the app store to update the app and then you will be able to restore your subscription. Sorry to hear you have also had problems contacting us, I will raise this with our team. Would be 5 Stars if Family Sharing

Subscribed for one month. Very good as good as buying the paper in quality and appearance on the iPad and iPhone.
Would have been 5 Stars but does not have family sharing enabled so for other members of the family to read this type of news outlet. Will subscribe again when this issue is resolved.
