"I use Concepts more than any other tool. I absolutely love it. The natural, fluid, vector-based workflow is so easy to use, but incredibly powerful. The technology never gets in the way of creativity. The fast and clean user experience makes it a joy to use.” - Yarrow Cheney, film director
"The Concepts app has not changed what I do, just transformed how I do it. It offers me the power, flexibility and adaptability of technology with all the sensitivity and immediacy of traditional hand drawing. In short, it is an app that I now cannot imagine being without, and the only time I\'ve experienced something that betters pen and paper.” - Ewen Miller, Calderpeel Architects
“I use it just for everything. Drawing, making notes, brainstorming, PDF markup, wireframing, design — EVERYTHING. And it delivers.” - natanaeldekross

This quick release fixes a few stability issues, for example a crash that happened when using certain third party styli and a couple of bugs related to text and measurement labels.

Ratings and Reviews
I've used this app right from the start but was persuaded away by other apps for a while.
Coming back to what used to be a simple, intuitive app I now find it one of the most counter-intuitive, bloated and costly apps out there. What a shame!
Whilst I am sure it is still incredibly powerful, there are much easier apps to use. Most of us simply do not have the time to deal with such a sharp learning curve.
With more and more great, powerful and inclusive vector and artwork app appearing on the store each year I find myself wondering if it is really worth the time and effort?
The Affinity range of apps now pose a serious challenge to even the King of Design, Adobe. Affinity Design is now the new champion.
This had to be one of the most thoroughly thought out apps available for iOS. Each update improves and augments what it's already a great drawing app.
All the tools are there to make life easier. Stylus and Apple Pencil support, Adobe CC integration, beautiful export tools. All this and a user interface that, while taking a little time to adjust to, simply makes sense.
If you are a professional designer you will love this app as much as I. Sure there are still one our two minor irritations but experience tells me they won't be there for long.
This app really does show the power and purpose of an iPad, with the iPad Pro and Pencil support, I can see most of us turning aside from our desktop machines and picking up the Pad.
I’m baffled by the good reviews
Honestly, maybe this just doesn’t work for my brain but this app is one of the most counter-intuitive apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. I’m a longtime user of Photoshop, Autodesk Sketchbook, Illustrator and many others just to name a few. I have never found one that was a clunky. I still haven’t found a proper colour wheel that actually allows me to use the colours I want rather than the COPIC presets. I’ve supposedly paid for the objects function yet the one time I tried to use it, it completely ruined my object instead. It doesn’t sync between my iPad and my iPhone for reasons unknown - I’m logged in with the same account after all. I feel like this is also not really made with the Apple Pencil in mind. It’s an afterthought, and one that doesn’t work too well. So very disappointed, I thought this might have potential...
Developer Response ,
Hi, sorry to hear you have had a frustrating time. It's true the only color wheel we have is the Copic Color wheel, but you can set up your own palettes with any colours you define. We have an article on this here... https://medium.com/@ConceptsApp/how-to-create-palettes-and-mix-colors-in-concepts-5-6d6a76f59362
I am not sure what issue you hit with objects. If you contact our support team we can help. On the Help page, tap Ask Us Anything and send a message.
In terms of sync, perhaps you are expecting your drawings to sync? We do not include these in the data we sync across devices. We are working on iCloud support for this in a future release.
Apple Pencil is not an after thought, but we'd love to hear why it feels that way. If you could send feedback to our support team, it would be great to understand what we need to improve. Thanks!
Excellent drawing app
Love this well designed and implemented drawing app - especially so the iPad Pro version, takes full advantage of the Pro’s stylus.
Had been looking for a tool to capture simple design overviews and ‘brain doodles’ for a while, then stumbled upon Concepts whilst trying a Pro in the Apple store. User interface looks complex, but I found it easy to get started and progressed from there. Now find I’m using Concepts for all my hand drawn input.
Only area I have to be careful of is getting carried away with the infinite workspace ... when I finally coms to export to a PDF file the file size can be significant (too big to email).
