Ratings and Reviews

Love this app!

A great place to store recipes found in magazines etc. I copy and paste ones I see online, and add a photo. I love that you can share cookbooks with your family and friends... and like recipes from other cookbooks all over the world, which gives you instant access to them at any time! I am in the process of getting rid of all my hard cover books, by entering the recipes into here. Ingenious little app!

Ok buts needs some fixes

I like this app but it needs some fixes before it gets a better rating. I hope the developer reads the reviews on here and makes the appropriate changes. If I'm reading a ebook of my own recipes or someone else's I would like to read them in portrait mode and note landscape this is my first fix that needs to be rectified the other would be to have the ability to change the background picture on the page, at present there is no option for this so please can we fix this, the next would be the ability to add multiple photos within the method part of your recipe to show different stages of the cooking process instead of one picture which is usually the finished article. I do like this app but will not use it a lot until the changes are made but quite a good first attempt.

Great app, but needs a few tweaks

I downloaded this app yesterday and started experimenting with it. The first problem I encountered was that there was no option to photographs on a recipe to show progress of cooking apart from the large header photo on the top. This is an issue because I think it is important to show how the food should be looking at different stages of the process. Also it is hard to get a good photo for the top of each recipe because it crops it awkwardly and zooms into the image instead of giving the option to crop the photo the way you want like you can on Facebook. Really looking forward to updates. Beyond these issues it is a great app.
