Thank you to this you can't apply for a job because they forgot to put if you have a settled status so you spend weeks to make them understand that in UK there is a right to work with settlement status and they of course didn't mention on the app and so you wait months forever because they don't know what to do and so you don't get verified and you just lost your time. All thousand details that made you mad on this app. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN THE HISTORY

I have worked faithfully with coople for almost 7 months. In those months, the only way i was able to get steady shifts as a student was talking to the company directly and requesting if i could be booked consistently. Over 3 weeks ago, the company decided to reduce/stop agencies from working with them and i was greatly affected. Against the advice of friends who had told me not to rely on coople, i became stuck with no job and no source of income. I reached out to coople and pleaded to please be given shifts while also applying consistently but all to no avail. I am currently completing my second master degree so it’s not a problem of being uneducated cause i am. (Maybe, just maybe coople thinks I’m good enough as a kitchen porter only, sad). Coople doesn’t seem to care for its employees in this regard (having shifts that is) and its so disappointing. I will advice that anyone who chooses to use coople should only use it as a back up to the back up of a backup plan A.K.A. plan Z. Let me not forget to mention the number of people i have recommended to TRY this app but haven’t gotten even 1 shift. Asides that, when you do by any miracle get shifts, their pay rates are competitive although they pay in 2 weeks after a shift is completed (this is communicated to you from the onset). Please note that these rate’s however include holiday pay so yh, no paid “holiday” for you.

Hi Karen, Thanks for your feedback. Most of the hiring is done by the company itself and not by Coople. Therefore, we don't have a big influence in regards to hiring. It really depends on the amount of open jobs. We always recommend to apply for as many shifts as possible. A few months ago, auto hire was released which allows you to hire yourself into shifts, if the company allowed it so. been registered to this app since november, only worked ONE (1) shift, despite applying for multiple shifts every week. i have the appropriate job profiles and apply for jobs i know i’m qualified for with a good chunk of experience, yet the same clients love to reject applicants each time, which makes me wonder if these places even take anyone from coople. it’s disheartening especially as a student who needs extra cash to be able to pay rent and afford groceries. anyways, i won’t be using this app moving forward as i’ve found better agencies that value their employees. and if the coople team try replying to this about ratings and whatnot, the shift i did work didn’t bother putting a rating for me, and there’s nothing i can do about it. either tell your clients to start actually accepting people and doing their due dilligence on their end, or don’t bother messing people about. it’s not a joke, this is peoples lives, we need to earn money in order to live and survive. don’t rely on coople for guaranteed stable employment.
