Utterly Brilliant
I've now completed all but the last of the related games, each one was a joy to complete and left me scratching my head on a few occasions. I was adamant not to cheat and with a little patience I managed to do every game without help. The puzzles are unique and often takes a little bit of thought and thinking outside the box. So amazing for a set of free games, I will definitely be purchasing the final chapter however - the work and skill that has gone into these games is well worth the money and hope the creators will come up with an even longer, bigger, weirder challenge and I will be the first to download it!
Yep utterly brilliant
You can't really have favourites of the cube & then Hotel & Roots series because every single one is interelated & " Rusty Lake" is such an experience and so deep that I think it deserves a whole book written about it
Was going to say though that I am enjoying playing this particular one very much , the sheer length & richness of story is genius for a free game, like "Seasons"
A Balance of hard & easy puzzles to solve so that it doesn't become too frustrating

Best I've played yet
I've played 5 or 6 Cube Escape games now - they all deserve great reviews (especially as they free) but this one is probably my favourite so far - although possibly tied with Seasons. I've purchased Rusty Lake Hotel and will definitely buy Rusty Lake Roots as well - to pay for a couple of the games is only fair given the quality of the free ones! I love the creepy atmosphere and the sprinkling of Twin Peaks - brilliant!!
