Description
Cyrus Cadence allows you to wirelessly control your Cyrus streaming system from your Apple device.
Cadence supports all of the features of your streamer, allowing you to:
- Browse and select tracks and albums from your digital music library
- View album artwork and information about the track being played
- Save your favourite tracks to a playlist
- Access the TIDAL & Qobuz streaming services (subscription required)
- Stream from several internet radio stations and podcasts
- Select any of the inputs of your streaming device
- Individually control different Cyrus streamers running on the same network

Note about MC-BUS volume control:
This feature allows Cadence to control the volume of a Cyrus pre amplifier connected via MC-BUS to a Stream X Signature, Stream X2, or Stream Xa via the volume up/down buttons on the app. In order for the MC-BUS volume control function to perform correctly, your streamer must be running firmware version 3.5 or greater. This function can also be used with Stream XP2, Stream XP2 Qx, and Streamline2 models when in ‘Source’ mode (version 3.6 and above only).
Please note that the n-remote cannot be used with streamers running 3.4 or greater firmware, and as such this function cannot be used with streamers with older firmware where the n-remote remains in use.

Absolutely awful
This app is not fit for purpose. It loses connection even though the stay connected button is selected. Does not auto connect, so you have to manual select the connection by IP address. Most of the time this does not work. How long has this app been available....and they still haven’t got it right. Such a very poor let down by Cyrus, whose hardware is fantastic. A note to Cyrus: whoever you have working on this app, get rid, now! How can you let a simple app to control your equipment fail. Obviously they don’t care, as this has been going on for years, now. And no it’s not my internet connection. I’m an IT engineer and won’t be fobbed off any more. Please Cyrus, sort this out once and for all. I’ve just spent £3000 on your equipment and can’t control it properly. This is just appalling.
It’s not getting any better!
Ok, so this app has always been clunky and has lacked any investment or major updates. It’s a shame because you buy a Cyrus streamer and have thousands in equipment and your shop front app is really poor. I’d learned to live with it until iOS 14.... now it’s a real lottery if the app will open, and if it does open if it will connect (it does see the streamer) and then if it will cleanly disconnect. Come on guys, you make some of the best HiFi on the planet, invest a few quid In giving the app a new lease of life. This is now doing you a real disservice
Great streamer, flaky app
I have an XP2qx which I love. However this app is still flaky. It often disconnects from the streamer/server whilst playing.
Sometime I want to browse for the next song, I have to close the app then reopen it to be able to access my music collection.
Very disappointing.
