We are back with a nice update for everyone. First up we have fixed some annoying bugs. Among them are fixes for article teaser headings that were being cropped quite often, so we have improved that across iPhone and iPad. Also, did you ever see a notification to download an app update you already had? Some of you did, so we have put a fix in place for that too. Other than bugs, we have also improved the UI to help you know what you can tap. The general rule, if it's our brand colour you can tap it! The in app notifications have also been given a lick of paint too! Enjoy.

I sent the following email to daily record web editor address given on app. It was returned undelivered because their mail box was full. I can see no other way of sending comments to them, seems they’re not interested.
I daily use my daily record app to keep me informed about Scottish football.=
As I don=E2=80=99t live in Scotland I find it invaluable and i enjoy it so m=
uch. However, throughout the many years I have used it I have always and sti=
ll am appalled at the way the articles are presented in print. The amount of=
spelling and syntax errors that persistently appear is shameful and embarra=
ssing for a Scottish newspaper. All readers regardless of the status of the n=
ewspaper deserve to be treated as educated people and not be required to rea=
d a sentence several times because it does not make sense or has something m=
issing. The problem seems to be getting worse if anything.

What have you Done!
Well I have used this app for quite some time and I really enjoyed it until now. It was easy to use l, read and understand the main stories but after looking at the new layout they have introduced i am horrified by what’s been changed, firstly you can’t read all of the main headline to most of the stories secondly it appears that they have reduced the amount of articles on display on each section and thirdly each articles cover story picture has been reduced by about half in size making it even more difficult to understand and find what you are looking for. DAILY RECORD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! If it’s not broken why try and fix it
On the whole the app is good. I like the content and it’s usually up to date. However over the last couple of months after reading an article it jumps back to the start again showing the very first article. Very annoying if you’ve read several articles. So I have to scroll down to find my place, read the next article and again sent back to the start. It’s like Groundhog Day
