Dignity is the premier iPhone drinking companion app. At your request, Dignity will temporarily remove selected contact's phone numbers from your iPhone's address book. And NEW in preparation for iOS 5, Dignity now also removes e-mail addresses to reduce the risk of drunken e-mails and iMessages!
Have you ever sent a text message you later regretted on a night out?
How about making a drunken phone call with cringe-worthy consequences?
Or has a friend ever “borrowed” your phone and sent an embarrassing text on your behalf?
Stop! Save your Dignity now!
Don't worry if you need to access your hidden contacts - Dignity has an option to recover your contacts in an emergency! Although if you don't trust yourself, you can leave this option switched off for maximum protection. Either way, you'll get a reminder when your contacts are ready to restore.
Don't risk your Dignity again without this app!
Please note that dignity can ONLY remove the phone numbers and e-mail addresses temporarily from your address book. If someone calls or messages you or if you still have old text messages from them on your iPhone, Dignity can't help.
What's New in Version 3.0
- Now also removes e-mail addresses as well as phone numbers, to prevent initiating an iMessage or e-mail whilst in lock-down
- Shiny new icon
Good idea, worked for me, but may be flawed for others.
This app essentially does what it says.
It will block you from texting someone for a certain length of time. However if you still have texts with them in your native SMS app you can continue the conversation, and if they text you while they're blocked you can see their number and text back.
I used this for extra willpower to stop me texting an ex who wasn't likely to contact me and it worked well for me for that purpose. Not sure how effective it would be preventing drunk texting with folk you regularly talk to.
If they are someone you talk to a lot and they contact you during the lockdown period this app won't work as you can just reply right back.
Tip: Delete all your existing messages with the people you want to block before entering lockdown. That way you can't reply. Good luck!
Perfect for what I wanted, I wanted to block people's numbers from getting in touch with me, I have no intention of texting them but at least they can't text me! Have to renew it every day but it really is worth it if you don't want someone to text you!! Recommend.
Withdrawing lash from the lash machine
Does exactly what it says in the description. Get the lashmina on and order yourself a portion of bangers and lash!
