Description

Duo Mobile works with Duo Security's two-factor authentication service to make logins more secure. The application generates passcodes for login and can receive push notifications for easy, one-tap authentication on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.

Additionally, you can use Duo Mobile to manage two-factor authentication for other application and web services that make use of passcodes.

Note: For Duo accounts, Duo Mobile needs to be activated and linked to your account before it will work. You will receive an activation link as part of Duo's enrollment process. You may add third-party accounts at any time.

Some bugs

Who's guffed?

Doesn’t always send a push notification when phone screen is locked. Have to wake up phone and launch App before I can accept a request. Hit and miss as to when it does it.

UPDATE:- I have tried what you have suggested, but it’s still hit and miss whether a push notification comes through. I deleted and reinstalled the App, and for a short while it worked fine. However it’s now gone back to not always giving push notifications again. If I open the App and pull it down, it works fine. I really want to be given push notifications when my phone is locked though. It used to work fine, so maybe during an App update something has changed.

Excellent

This is a very simple app with very few
options and that's all it needs to be really. It's powered by, and requires a web service to function, as well as technical integration into a website or app. The service has a straight forward API and is free for upto 10 users. It provides very similar 2 factor authentication as Google, Paypal and eBay, meaning everyday websites can now implement better security. Although I am not a security expert or researcher, security does appear to be excellent, although do ensure you are have the option to turn off 2 factor login in your application just in case the service is ever unavailable or is somehow compromised. Overall The app is very nicely designed and even has a push system for tokens, which I have never seen before and works extremely well. Highly recommended.

Provides two factor authentication for a variety of purposes, excellent!

Would love it if I could have more than one integration per app though :)

Update: Logged on to one of my sites today and was offered to login via Push Authentication. So it can be used on more than one site, not sure if oversight on my part or joined up thinking from the DuoSec guys. Thanks guys great app and updated to five stars :)
