Description

e-Science is a free science magazine written by real researchers for both teachers and the public. Since researchers write this magazine, their articles cover really unique areas of science and the research they are doing in that area.

The majority of articles in this magazine relate to The 10 Big Questions:
http://www.sciences.adelaide.edu.au/future/elfs/elfs.html

•UNIVERSE How did the Universe begin?
•EARTH How does the Earth work?
•LIFE What is life?
•EVOLUTION How did life evolve on Earth?
•DISEASE How do we unravel the causes of disease?
•CLIMATE Why does climate change?
•SUSTAINABILITY How can we feed the World sustainably?
•FUEL How can we reduce our reliance on fossil fuels?
•CONSERVATION How will we conserve species diversity?
•NANOSCIENCE Where will the nanoscience revolution take us?

Each article has linked interactive activities/resources that can be used to further the reader’s scientific knowledge. These activities and resources are likely to be especially useful for educators, providing a one stop shop for both the article and related activities. Ultimately we are offering a fusion between a science magazine, scientific app and lesson plan guide!
