Great fashion magazine
Love this but I wish the subscription cost was the same as the print version! I used to subscribe to the print version and moved to digital editions instead for all my magazines. Annoyingly I found that it was inexplicably more expensive than the offer I had (which was also printed in the magazine itself) for the print one (which includes packaging, postage and cover mounts). This seems strange and it meant that I haven't subscribed to the digital version as the discrepancy felt too annoying, I have bought one single issue which was great.
Come on ELLE, sort this app out!
I never bother to write reviews but this time I'm so annoyed that I have to! When people are paying to read issues, we expect a high quality app.
Let's see all the various issues I've had in the last 15 mins: 1) once I go to the settings screen and press "done" to go back to home screen, the app crashes. 2) the last 15 minutes has downloaded about 2 pixels worth of the download bar for the latest issue (actually, it's crashed).
Elle magazine itself is great, but more and more people are going to be wanting to read issues via mobile so please spend some money on making a decent app?!? It's the least you could do...
Faulty app, poor customer service
Terrible experience. App randomly removes issues or asks you to pay for issues despite having a current subscription & being logged into your account. I can't access any of my current or past issues at the moment. Their "customer service" is nonexistent, I've been emailing them and the editor for 2 months to get problems solved but have yet to have them resolved. Used to love the print version but the digital edition is not worth the trouble or the expense.
