# Disable Screen Dimming
EpocCam automatically dims your device’s display to save power. If you’d prefer to keep an eye on your video preview at all times, you can now disable this behavior. Just tap the gear icon to enter preferences where you’ll find the new Screen Dimming setting.

Very good for teaching online
I downloaded this app to use my phone as a webcam as there weren’t any webcams available for quick purchase and cheap enough. It crashed whilst using zoom so I had to download it again. Not sure why. I’m using it with Teams mainly and it works fine. The ads are a bit frustrating. It’s a shame there is no option to get rid of the ads whilst paying a small fee.
Too greedy
Physically the point of use for a web cam is to show video and AUDIO WHICH IS LOCKED BEHIND A PAYWALL WHATS THE POINT OF A WEBCAM WITHOUT AUDIO FUNCTIONALITY Just use a third party app yes it’s not from a proper company but hey it still works BASICALLY I bought this to use as a mic on discord and stuff because my webcam stopped working and you think I would use something official like this NOT A SMALL APP also this can be used very well with an external mic BUT WHY IM INSTALLING THIS IS TO USE AS A MIC so yes this could maybe be a five star if used with an external mic or paid for so yes it is good quality however unless you buy their “pro” version you better have an external mic because I’d idk you’re using it for more than discord and works for a business or school or something THEN YOU WILL NEED A MIC IF YOU WANT THIS TO WORK OR AGAIN BUY THEIR “pro” VERSION if you have the mic YES USE IT or have the money to buy a BASIC USAGE OF A WEBCAM test of course use it anyway I better shut up and let my review just get ignored as it won’t be viewed but if someone sees this just keep that one thing in mind
This is amazing
I can’t believe how easy this is to set up, there’s nothing to it, same WiFi no wires, if you struggle to set this up I don’t know what your doing wrong, maybe you have a really poor connection but personally this was amazing and has solved my problem of waiting for my camera to come from Logitech in the Coronavirus period which is going to be another month from the end of April so, this has solved my camera issue for streaming games on mixer - Wardy46
