Reaction backgrounds missing

I've just installed the FB app on my new iPad Pro 9.7, and when 'reacting' to a post, the tray of options (like, love, laugh, sad, angry etc.) pops up, but doesn't show the backgrounds to these emojis. This might sound like a small thing, but you basically can't seethe first couple of 'reaction' options at all.

While we're at it, why can't you make the toolbar configurable, so that those of us who don't give a toss about "Marketplace", can replace it with a button we WILL use, like "most recent" newsfeed.

On that subject, could we PLEASE reinstate 'most recent' as a default newsfeed option. I know NO-ONE who cares about "Top Stories". Everyone I know, wants their newsfeed in chronological order, and featuring news posted by their friends, NOT information on posts from people we don't know, that our friends happen to have reacted to.

Very very slow

I do enjoy using Facebook. However since the last update or two, it has made scrolling down my newsfeed incredibly difficult, and viewing comments very slow. The app takes ages to process what I've done. For example; I will be on the comment section of a post, or on a timeline, or my newsfeed, and then if I swipe down to view something else, I have to wait ages before it actually does the command. This means that when using Facebook, I can only do about half the things I want to in the same period of time as before, as it never used to take this long. I have noticed also that all my other apps are working as usual, and at a fast, or even decent, standard. Which is what I would expect from Facebook, seen as the problem clearly isn't anything to do with my iPhone.

It could be so much better

Well I would of given you 4 maybe even 5 but now you've put that stupid marketplace where the message icon used to be. What's the point I know people use FB AS a selling site and a business but not everyone we still enjoy using it as a social network and if someone PM you it's normally because they want to talk in private now half the time I miss I have a message and people assume you're ignoring them. Silly silly. Why change something that for a change was working well. If you must have market place stick it somewhere else.
