Customer Reviews

Mark'Arthur Park.

Most apps are great, the Facebook one is and has so many things which can be done on it, that's what's so great about Facebook in the first place BUT there are so many jobs only seeming to be half done. For instance the microphone to speak to make the words is appalling and and getting worse each update, a great idea to start with but then left -it seems- for Mark to go onto other projects, what he started just sitting around parked up and going nowhere. Meanwhile other bits and bobs are added, slowing the whole thing down, including some which are very imposing such as taking photographs with camera, then going onto Facebook to find those exact photographs are the first thing you see, I do not want my photographs going on to full display on Facebook, so much been chucked in willy nilly and the rest of what was there already being left, he should change his name to Arthur Jobdone. And these half done jobs are infuriating so that's why it's right down four. The reason it has gone down to 3 is because I find the customer service team racist and their blocking very unfair and one-sided.

New update - no change?

Latest version, then: seems exactly the same as before.

It's really pointless leaving any feedback here isn't it? An update with no noticeable changes every fortnight then I post the same review. First day after the update shows a stream of one star reviews with the same concerns and these are then buried as we approach the next meaningless update. Weird. Anyway - here's my usual review that lists the same problems (and the same problems everyone has) every two weeks...

Latest news stream is worse than ever - totally out of sync with 'Most Recent' (the option everyone seems to want) and full of days old nonsense.

Separate Messenger app uses needless memory on my phone and I could really do without it.

The main app caches so much data I regularly need to delete it and reinstall when it approaches half a gig - my phone doesn't have the memory space to sustain this.

The fortnightly updates are a great wheeze - all the negative reviews get archived once a fortnight and so anyone reading them doesn't see the complaints about being forced to install Messenger, regular crashes and a stupid news feed system that makes it hard to use FB the way you want (ie 'Most Recent').

A cynical strategy from a cynical company. Shame users wishes aren't listened to... and are now archived once a fortnight to start afresh. This just isn't a company that seems to listen to it's user base.

*sigh*

Good, but have swipe to go back on iPad and new in app browser on iPhone

I suggested a swipe to dismiss feature for the in app browser on my last review. And it was added and was VERY useful especially when holding the phone in your right hand. This update has removed this feature again 😭. Please add it back.

^^^^^ I wrote the above a while back, just came here to write it again and found I'd already written what I wanted to say lol.

Please enable swipe to go back when opening a web link in the in app browser, the rest of your app has it, very annoying having to double tap the home button in order to reach the back button to go back to the main app when I could just swipe.
