The new Verification dashboard makes it easy to track and complete your Verification process from within the app when making a rental request. Apparently it’s a ‘slick interface’, but that description was given by the engineer who built it. We’ll let you decide for yourself (please send any feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org)
To help keep the Fat Llama herd safe as we grow, you can expect a cute little pop-up asking you to verify your mobile number (if you haven’t already).

This app in my opinion is still struggling a bit. The entire app at the moment isn’t loading, the inbox and notifications are empty, and i can’t search for anything or take care of my account. I need it to message people and organize rentals at the moment but going through my phone is a tougher option than it should be.
Additionally when my messages were working for a bit the other day, it wouldn’t let me copy and paste telephone numbers to send to a client to improve the communication.
Finally it would be nice, once everything is fixed, to have the option to make custom quotes directly from the App.
The app otherwise, when working, is still efficient, and I’m still very content and grateful of the service that fatlama generally provides.

I can’t view my messages or notifications! When I enter the app, it shows me a message “you have no messages yet” but at the same time on the app icon I do have two notifications. Very inconvenient.
Previously had another issue. when typing the message the text cursor would jump around. Also when typing a message app would crash and I wound need to start over.
But at the same time they rate your response time, while making it almost impossible to reply quickly unless you next to the computer. Also it is extremely hard or impossible to view some information via app, so app takes your to the browser version.
Considering fatlama takes quite fat percentage from each rental, they could make app less more user friendly and less annoying
For now, one start. The app is truly horrendous.

Bad Customer Service and illegitimate T&C’s
These guys ignore you but have a direct connection to your bank account. They have fraudulently added a hire to my account and deducted money from my account. When i contacted them they have ignored me or gave slow meaningless replies and their support lama teams number is on constant divert to a automated message.
To top it off the fat-lama team has terms and conditions that they can not stick causing me to now take the matter to a another level. I have repeatedly directed them towards evidence that clearly puts me in the right but just recently got to i now have to wait as its the weekend and had no other information in regards to the situation. I will no longer be using their services as their insurance may be as fraudulent as their terms and conditions.
Ps i give no stars to these crooks!

Our insurance-backed Guarantee covers lenders, but as we make clear, when borrowers fail to successfully return an item on time, they are liable for the full cost of the item. This is in place to protect our lenders.
