Feeld: Date & Meet New People 17+

I really like this app, have been using it for a while and met some great people. I also love how it seems to have gravitated towards being the most left leaning dating app ✨

There are some bugs in this very recent update that I couldn’t really find anywhere to report other than here on a review, so really hope the developers read this so that they can be squashed! Also want to say the new aesthetic is really good and there are some great improvements. I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, I just understand that without information on them developers are often unable to spot/fix bugs! These are all on my iPhone 11:

• when you have run out of likes and try to like someone, after returning back to the list after being alerted you have no likes remaining, I’m unable to scroll left or right. The ability is frozen and I have to restart the app

• transitioning from the chat list to a conversation is really slow and sometimes just doesn’t work

• sometimes the send button doesn’t work or is incredibly slow, and has led to accidentally sending duplicate messages

• I don’t really know how you address this but the app does generally feel quite slow…

Before the update this app was poor. After the (Dec 23) update it is bearly usable. There is no clear advantages from the update, only negative issues. For basics the app is inconsistent with actually showing if you have notifications, App 101 if you like. Sometimes it maybe works, sometimes not. If you login and check your messages you might find you have correspondence, but might not. Image sharing simply doesn’t work, timed or not timed. Everytime you click on a different part of the app it say’s ‘loading’, like some Windows 95 feature. The distance feature doesn’t work. There is a strange algorithm where it will sometimes show people and sometimes not. There is no way to search. There is no way to view those you have previously ‘liked’ or sent a ‘ping’ to, they just disappear from the app unless they like you back, so if you don’t read their biog fully, or want to read it again after you have liked somone then tough luck! There is no clear difference between ’like’ and ‘ping’, essentially the same but you have to buy ‘pings’ ?! This app is so, so, so bad. Best thing it to make connections then transfer to another method as soon as you feel confident. I bought a 3month pass initially but no way I will be renewing. About the worst app I have ever used. So bad. One start because you can give Zero stars. Such a shame as what it potentially offers could be great.

Not good for single females and males. Too many men on the app and Feeld doesnt give much advantage to men who pay. Majestic membership means unlimited likes, but if you’re at the bottom of the queue all the time you’ll never be seen and as a man you’ll swipe till you run out of women in your area (which will be within a day). Uplift means your profile goes to the top of the queue for 24 hours for £8.99 - this is really not worth it. I’ve worked a lot on my profile, good quality clear photos, well written profile based on feedback and even with uplift and maxing out my likes I pretty much got nothing - it’s not worth it. I feel sorry for men because this app just makes them feel demoralised when they try so hard and even pay. This app will close in a year or so unless Feeld give more advantage to men who try on the app (good profiles, active and paying). They need to take more care of paying customers. Uplift needs for that price needs to be for 1 week not 24 hours. Also, I’ve spoken to females who receive hundreds of likes from men in their queue, they just don’t have time to go through so they give up. Both sides become disconnected. I will cancel my Feeld memberships at the end of the month and go to other apps or just back to meeting people in-person.
