Great app that works really well
After a fall at speed after hitting a Pothole (on a bike) this is a brilliant app to report defects on your local roads. I didn't get anywhere as the compensation route is the same as a car as a push bike - 2 independent insurance surveys (around here each survey £45/£50) for the damage it was cheaper to fix it myself. So I decided to try and help local cyclists and try to removed the hazards using this app. I've reported 30ish potholes and 21 have been fixed or have been marked to be fixed - so seems to work in Surrey . Once deflects are reported they can't be ignored and must we dealt with (within your local councils time frames).
It's not often I find an app that is efficient and actually works but this is definitely one that is! Reported a pothole on the A14 on my way to a drop (I'm a dirty trucker) on the way back about an hour later and I saw the council looking for it, and this was at 01:30! Top banana! :)
In a fit of pique after a pinch puncture I decided to report the offending pothole. Much to my surprise when I went on the same route a week later the repairs were underway so it definitely works. Payback time for cyclists in the pothole war..
