Hardest RPGs ever
Hi usually I have no problem playing RPGs being a RPGs player since play station 1 first came out and having competed 7,8, and 9 final fantasies etc I thought this would be easy. It's not it's hard you need to do a lot of grinding in the early stages just to get past the first 5 or so stages. And defeat the mages first cause they know level 2 spells other than that it's a great game with great story and I love the drawings and graphics they use. The most Visuallay appealing game on the iPad so far. One thing I forgot to mention save your game at the start before the first mission or else you'll go continue and you end'll up watching yourself lose again unable to do anything to stop it. Needs a quit or back to title menu during battle.
A bit annoying
For some reason when I ask my chemist to use a potion on someone, he uses it in the person closet to him! (This occurs when he chemist name and the person I want to use the potion on's name is onscreen before confirming) and led to me loosing the fight. Ok so I lost, decided to just continue from my saved point, to which when I hit continue, it loaded up the same fight, but at the point where I lost so instantly game over... Now that is a very annoying bug (obviously not tested properly, considering I'm a developer) as well, when I tap away from the menu it decides to confirm the action, but when using touch screen devices that action is normally associated with closing / cancelling, so it's very unusable. This is more a rant than a review, but it needs a lot of improvement
I absolutely love this game, and since the latest update I have had no crashes at all!
The antialiasing that has been added makes things a touch more blurry but I think it's a fair trade off and makes the game look nicer over all.
This update is SO overdue, but very welcome none the less. Now I can fully enjoy this legendary game :^)
UPDATE: I have come across one bug so far. After video cut scenes finish I get the sound from the scene play again from the beginning on the map screen. Once I enter a location it stops though. Weird and a little annoying but luckily not a game breaker :^)
