The Flexy app enables you to find and book quality flexible jobs in your area, with fair hourly rates and quick payment.
Flexy is free to use, but before you can undertake shifts, you will need to book a short appointment to have your right to work in the UK validated. UK law states that we must check your right to work, so you must have a UK / EU passport (with at least 6 months validity) or a UK work visa. The Checker process takes about 10 minutes, and can be done by video through the app.
When browsing jobs you can see ratings by other people who have actually done the job or worked for that Hirer before; so you can pick and choose the jobs that best suit you. When you find a job you’re interested in, simply Apply to the job, which alerts the Hirer you’re interested in it. Once they accept your Connection request, you will be able to book yourself onto shifts as and when they are posted by the Hirer.
Ratings work both ways, so ensure you give every job 100% of your effort to improve your chances of getting a good rating from the Hirer, which will have a direct impact on the likelihood of you being invited to connect with other jobs in the future.
When you arrive for your shift, simply check-in on your phone which confirms to the Hirer that you’re in the right place at the right time. When you finish, check-out and submit your timesheet through the app. Flexy then processes your timesheet to ensure you get paid quickly and securely whilst paying the right amount of tax. Payment is processed every week, two weeks in arrears.

We’re constantly looking at ways to improve the stability and functionality of the Flexy app. In this latest release we have made some changes to the Starter Declaration for student loan deductions, tweaked the phone number validation sequence to make it easier to check your details, improved screen formatting in the onboarding screens, and fixed a few bugs around timesheets so you can instantly see any changes within your timeline.

I have been with Flexy since July 2018 and have found my perfect job with them. Sharon has helped and advised me every step from day one. I’m not always the best with technology but Sharon has called me and talked me through things and offered me a lot of support. She is a big asset to the flexy company. Working With flexy has made me take control of my career as the ease of submitting my time sheets is fantastic and knowing my wages will be correct if I need to do over time/adhoc is a big bonus. In the past I have had to wait along time for this pay to be put through the system. High pay rates
Flexy is a very good agency, where you can find a variety of gigs throughout London.
The pay-rate in most cases is great, the only thing that keeps me away from giving them a five star review is the lack of flexibility as the clients post linked shifts on which you are expected to commit and sometimes that's quite hard to do, especially when you work and study at the same time, and may not be suitable for all. I wish you guys best and I hope that in future we can work together again!
Flexy guys are great, the app needs an improvement
My experience with Flexy is very human-oriented. For now, having done dozens of shifts under Flexy, I can say there’s a strong support from Flexy team. The only pitfall is the app, which is quite glitchy: sometimes even scrolling sideways is a pain, cause it keeps turning back to the very beginning. This is why I took one star off. All in all, feedback & operations support overcome the app imperfections.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
