What a con

I Bought this App today and what a complete waste of money, It tells you to Authorize the App with your flickr account and directs you to your flickr account when you press on Authorize it directs you to a page of your bookmarks and thats as far as you can get. I had this trouble with LR5 trying to publish with flickr and had to give up in the end (hence why I had to swap to 500px which does work with my mac. and of course you can’t get hold of anybody and when you do its never their fault its always somebody else’s problem. anyone know how to get your money back from the App store. the latest update says fixed minor bugs for OS Yosemite, its a pity that they didn’t fix the App so that you could use it.

Excellent Add-on to Flickr

Flickery relies on Flickr so first a few words about the latter and why I rate it highly:
I've been a Flickr member for about 9 years and although there are (and I use) better online photo display facilities, Flickr's strength is it’s ease of ability to get your work seen by a large audience. With good SEO and an interactive membership it is relatively easy to score high ‘hits’ and promote your work/event or whatever. The key is to build a loyal following of Flickr contacts and to interact with them + create interesting sets/albums and promote same in other media + post the photos in the wide range of member groups to reach an audience outwith your immediate contacts - and ensure that your photos are properly tagged and a descent discription is added. Do all of that (and take some decent photos of course) and it is not too difficult in time to get 20K hits per day. The photos can look better in a custom designed webpage but just try and beat Flickr for global reach and high page ‘hits'.

Now tp Flickery: I have been using Flickery for about two years and initiallly I found it interesting and useful but not essential. I have been test driving it again over last few days and found it to be an excellent add-on. It is now much easier to post photos to multiple sets/albums and Groups and Flickery makes it faster and easier to identify the set/group. I have unlimted storage at Flickr in my membership package with countless sets/albums and Flickr’s ability to load albums and groups has slowed down of late - Flickery speeds up the process.
It is also easier though the Flickey interface to browse your contacts photos, favs and albums - all from the same browser interface - unlike Flickr where you have to jump to other pages. In short, Flickery is a mean piece of kit and a bargain at the price - it’s fun to use and speeds up the workflow.

Finally I had cause to raise a query with Flickery Support yesterday - the response came within minutes and the matter was resolved to my complete satisfaction - impressed.

Waste of money!

Dont bother wasting your money.
