It Has Potential But It Needs To Listen To Their User’s Complains

I personally think that it would be hard for a beginner to progress without subscribing to the premium version which contradicts to the purpose of this app, which is to allow photographers to make a side hustle. Personally, I would recommend on improving the user friendliness of the app, in order to make it easier for sellers to use. Perhaps maybe adding a section in the bio where we are allowed to put links to our website or social media accounts? Furthermore, I would also like to see improvement on the algorithm in order for other users to find one another easily. This will definitely be a game changer for this app. All this app needs is to listen to its consumer’s demands/complaints and try their best to help photographers make a side income. I really hope there will be upcoming improvements as soon as possible.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! There are free Missions available on Foap and you can sell your photos on Foap market free of charge. Premium Missions are for those users who want to try and win more money by investing a bit of their time and resources. As for finding other users in our app, you should be able to easily do it by navigating to "Explore" section of the app and then entering the username of the user in the search tab.

Magnet for plagiarism.

Whilst the app itself does what it’s supposed to do, as a more serious photographer I’m not overly keen on having photos rated out of five stars by people whose own portfolio is full of mobile phone happy snaps. But such is the system.

Don’t expect to sell much through here as few people ever seem to sell more than one photo, although on the plus side, there’s no minimum sales value threshold so payment is made reasonably quickly.

My main issue is the endemic theft of photos from the internet which is passed off by people as their own work and trying to make a quick $5. This theft is absolutely rife on here. Whilst the administrators do seem to take down accounts within 24 hours when this is reported, it wouldn’t be difficult nowadays to build into the system a means of spotting this. Plagiarism is theft, and I wonder how many sales are actually achieved by people who do this - my guess is not many, and the quality of stolen photos is generally way below that of a decently downloaded shot. But I do wish the developers would take a more proactive approach themselves, instead of waiting for people like me to report theft of pictures. Over to you Foap!
