Needs just a few things
This app works really well to spot differences between two directories and allow you to easily make them the same within the app.
Not giving 5 stars due to two minor problems:
The filtering doesnt quite work- a folder which contains differences will still show in red- even if those files are filtered out when the folders contents are examined. This is annoying for DS_store files.
It would be nicer to be able to preview a file, not just find it in a directory (where you can, of course, do a preview)
Keeps on crashing with network AFP connected folders
When I run a comparison between a locally connected drive with a network mounted drive (using AFP), Folder Compare freezes after a while and it completely crashes the MAC which requires a restart to be usable again.
Excellent and well implemented
Simple but extremely effective. Highly recommended
