By Foodspotting, Inc.
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
As seen on The Today Show & Time Magazine's 50 Best Apps!
Foodspotting is a visual guide to good food and where to find it. Instead of reviewing restaurants, you can recommend dishes and see what foodspotters, friends and experts recommend wherever you go.
Unlike other restaurant apps, Foodspotting answers questions like…
• Where can I find the best…
Because it’s about dishes, not just restaurants, you can find whatever you’re craving, from Dumplings and Dosas to Cronuts and Ramen Burgers.
• What’s good here?
Because it’s positive, you can see what’s good at any restaurant and recommend your favorite dishes by snapping a photo or tapping “Loved it!”
• What does it look like?
Because it's powered by people who take pictures of their food, deciding what to eat is as easy as looking in a bakery window and seeing what looks good.
Since Foodspotting launched in 2010, over 4M dishes have been spotted around the world, and we’re counting on you to represent your city!
What's New in Version 5.1
Several stability and bug fixes.
We’ve overhauled comments so you can see all of them.
Updated support for entering custom locations.
Really rather pointless giving the current amount of apps orientated around taking pictures and the amount of apps orientated around social networks and your location. Why use this when I can take a picture with my stick camera post it on an already popular app like Foursquare and cross post it to Facebook and Twitter!?
3 stars for the good build.
Did the marketing guys at Tampopo build this app? I mean, I know they didn't but it gives the impression that this app is full vanilla taste buds. Hopefully news can spread and we can get some real foodies on here.
Great idea and decent features
Just wish there were more users
