Appears to work but output is corrupt for

I had a large volume of non-standard sized videos to transcode from obscure codecs to MP4. This appeared to do the job with ease (even loading old Apple Animation and Apple Intermediate Codecs), but it messed up outputting MP4s due to the non-standard frame sizes, and duplicated pixels around the edge of the output media to pad them out. I abandoned this product as a result.

A great solution

I suddenly found that all my movies in presentations quit working! I hate it when you upgrade OS and suddenly you have to rush around finding out how to make things work again that worked just fine before! This works really easily. Thank you! Perhaps you could invent an app that tells you what isn’t going to work anymore in your current software when you upgrade?!

QNAP Surveillance Station files?

I needed an app that converts the video from my QNAP Surveillance station (CCTV) files from AVI to MP4, Handbrake couldnt do it, Elmedia plays the files but doesnt convert them, this not only converted them perfectly, but can also merge the files which is brilliant.

Only downside is they are 2560x1440 files and max size is 1280x720 but i can live with that
