Shame on you!
The functionality of this app is reasonable, but the user interface is dreadful. The opening screen is flashy, indecipherable and stupid as far as usability goes, and has clearly been commissioned to disguise the most awful clunky interface that recalls a website from the last millennium. The fact that this typical of many French websites is no excuse — you only have to look at Interlingua’s Collins-Robert dictionary to see how one can take advantage of the iPhone to produce something that is easy and pleasant to use. I would have expected something at least equivalent for a French/French dictionary from the recognized authority. Why doesn’t Larousse care?
Generally a very useful app.
My only complaint is that it is very slow to respond to "key" touches & this can become frustrating when you're in a hurry to find an entry.
Broken since OS 6.1.2
Used to work very well: a 5* dictionary. Now, since OS 6.1.2 upgrade, crashes frequently - specifically when I press the pronunciation icon. Since IPA symbols are not used this is a major loss in functionality. I hope it is soon corrected.
