Adequate. Almost...

It's rather a clunky way to connect to the two and a very poor user experience. Certainly not like many of the slick iOS apps out there. Basic functionality works ok, most of the time. Camera (X-T20) is wonderful, but the app is like a first release from a third-party. Connecting the devices may be a limitation of IOS (you have to leave the app and connect manually in wifi settings) but surely it could be improved? Perhaps automatic connection when wireless setting is selected on the camera? The geotagging works but could do with showing the location (to confirm) and perhaps linking to a database of popular locations (google?). It's also frustrating the way the app and the connection is reset once a function is complete, meaning you have to go through the whole connection again to do something else.
It's a generous three stars from me. Needs more work, Fujifilm.

Still ery poor

It’s 2018 and this is app still doesn’t work in landscape on an iPad. It also expects you to manually reconnect the Wi-fi connection to the camera (in settings) every time you want to switch function between image transfer, remote capture etc. Ridiculous.

Oh btw it’s subject to arbitrary memory limits which mean you can typically only transfer over around 130 pictures each time and have to repeatedly go back each time and import more to get around this limit. Oh, and if you leave it while downloading? The app will merrily let your iPad go to sleep and drop the connection.

In short, the app is a pathetic afterthought and should have been rewritten entirely a long time ago. Shame.

Not bad but needs work

The app allows you to control the camera fine. I don’t use this part of the app much. The app also allows you to transfer photos to you iphone or I pad. However the speed that the transfer takes is pretty slow. If you transfer your photos though the remote control rather than the dedicated transfer option, the photos seem you transfer twice, if not three times faster than the transfer option. An option that fuji should add on the next update should be the option to select only protected images for transfer. And also speed up transfer times
