Will not connect properly with guest invite

Ceebstar

We got these scales with the intention to both be able to track our health stats easily by WiFi.
The app is quite poor because it feels like you need to work quite hard to find how to ‘invite’ another user to share your scales. After stumbling through the apps many screens of junk I finally managed to invite my wife to my Garmin set of scales.
Now, weeks later she still is not able to see any information other than basic weight. No BMI, body fat etc. Nothing.
We have reset the scales. Uninvited her and tried again. Disconnected my account and started again. At no point have we made any progress and at no point has this app made it anything other than an exercise in frustration. I wanted to like Garmin but if this app is anything to go by I don’t think I will be buying anything else from them. These scales simply do not connect properly - is it the app’s fault? Is it the scales themselves? I don’t know and now I am beyond caring - we are now reduced to writing our stats down on a piece of paper, if we can be arsed, which defeats the point of spending over £100 on a set of scales which claims that I can invite up to 15 people to share them! It can’t manage just us two. A terrible waste and another easy win for Apple and Fitbit whose products just sort of work without fuss.

Disappointing

Excited to get the new Vivosport and assured the app was excellent. After three separate installs it’s clear there is a major problem. The Device screen starts off fine but very quickly drops to the bottom of the page with just a tiny part of the top line showing. You can’t drag it up or do anything with it so it’s rendering the app useless. Also, despite saying it has successfully synced, it’s not transferring any data whatsoever.
I previously owned a really cheap (Like £25!) device and have to say the app was fantastic - worked first time, never had to reinstall, transferred data daily with no problems, and worked a treat. Only reason I changed was the strap was terrible, kept coming off, and wasn’t as light as I wanted. I love the Vivosport but as I’ve said, it’s rendered useless because of the app. Clearly from looking at the reviews I’m not the only one having these problems. Come on Garmin - get it sorted please, or the Vivosport goes back.

Great app...love the syncing to Strava too!

Had a Garmin Vivoactive 3 for Christmas. Absolutely love it - the app is easy to use and provides so much useful data. It’s clear to read and visually pleasantly colourful on a black background. Lots of info without being too ‘busy’. I especially like the ease with which it auto uploads completed activities to Strava (once you’ve set it up to do so). Heart rate appears pretty accurate even without a chest strap (I did compare with and without). I found the touch screen and side scroll very responsive (which is good), so have set it up to lock screen in the watch face to save me accidentally scrolling/selecting stuff when doing daily farting about.
