Meeting goals made easier:
The newest version of Garmin Connect Mobile is designed to help you to focus even more clearly on your fitness and healthy living goals. All the data you rely on is easy to find and access on the app. Plus, you can also upload data from your compatible fitness watch or device to share via our online network, so you can compare times or compete with friends on weekly step or running challenges. You can even use the app’s Bluetooth® connectivity links (with a compatible smartphone) to receive current weather conditions, forecasts, voice call/text message notifications, and more – right on your Garmin fitness device.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Good app with some flaws

I have fenix watch, edge 810 cycle gps and a vivosmart. On the whole I find it to be very user friendly once you know your way around it.
At the moment, I find my main problem is that it will not sync with a device if the last one it synced with is within Bluetooth range, (the whole house). I have to manually turn the Bluetooth off the device I don't want to sync. Not a major problem overall though.

Garmin App

After treating myself to a Garmin 235 watch I decided to use the app to track all my activities. I can honestly say I find it easy to use & navigate & sync my watch/phone etc, although I always do it manually. The only issue I have is the sync with MyFitnessPal as my activities duplicate but this may be related to another app syncing too!
Overall I give it 5*****

Please test new versions - and give the running man a rest!

I frequently have sync issues between the app and my FR235. They seemed to be fixed for a while but since the last update, more problems. My run seems to have synced but there are no graphs available. Thank goodness Strava has a nice stable app - I can see my HR, pace and elevation graphs there.

I'm also a little worried about the poor wee running man. Every time I switch screens he seems to go for a 4 mile run! He's not too fast and I'm worried he's going to run out of steam. I think I preferred it when I couldn't see him training.
