After 40 mins, stabbing away in the dark, I finally figured out how to use this... and that's when the feeling of disappointment kicked in. With photo editing apps there is a general expectation that you will be able to apply several progressive edit operations to build up a complete edit and then save out to library at the end. With this app, you must save out to your photo library after just 1 edit operation, then pull in that photo again from your library to apply a second level edit, then save out, then pull back in again and again, to gradually build up the layers... The whole thing is exhausting. The dev might take a lead from other apps like snapseed And photoshop. I'd love to see this improved, because the concept of adding coloured shapes to photos is definitely appealing.
The interface looks really slick and polished; aesthetically it's excellent, but functionally, it's really unintuitive. I was frequently left with a feeling of bewilderment, wondering where to turn next. More than once I felt I had no other option than to quit the app in the sys tray and then start again.
Love this app!!
Adding overlay colours to my pictures is always something I wanted to do and this app lets me do it.
I love the fact too that I can add shapes to photos and it's great fun to mess about with colours. I'd like to see more shapes being added but I suppose you've got to start somewhere.
This is a great app and there are thousands of combinations of blends and colours to try, an endless choice in fact!
Great for giving far more subtle colour effects to your shots than the grungy Instagram style usual stuff. Very easy to use. Yes you need to work on progressive iterations to apply multiple effects, but there's something nice about that actually that feels more like working in a phone sized darkroom somehow!
