Customer Reviews

Ok. First things first. Let's get this out of the way. This game is beautiful. Aesthetically first class. Controls are superb. The size of the game is unreal. You'll start playing it and think "wow, this is the best game I've played". That's what I thought.
So...what's wrong with it then, right? Well, it's not the in app purchases. Some people give you the same old "oh you have to buy stuff to do really well" angle. No you don't. You just have to be half decent at playing. They clearly aren't. So that's not the what is?
I'll tell you. There's a few things. Firstly, it's really glitchy. Not little glitches that irritate. Big glitches, which force you to remove the app after hours of careful playing (I've had to uninstall three times now and frankly, I'm done). Also, the sheer size and detail means that once you get past 12 hours of solid playing time and the levels get more complex, the iPad can't handle it. The most recent iPad processors can't even handle it and the speed gets so slow that it affects the controls and you end up messing up the level. The glitches will drive you insane. Such a shame. A case of "get it right before you release the game lads" for the 22Cans team I'm afraid. Such a dreadful pity.

One Hour in & I'm LOVING IT !!!!

Warning: This is one really addictive game.
I installed it & ran it just to check it out & I kept saying to myself "I'll just do one more thing" again & again & before I knew it over an hour had passed, & I still haven't stopped playing yet !!!. This is definately one of the classic "Stay up all night" type games, up there amongst the all to rare "A+" games, one I might play to the end which is quite rare.

Well done to the writers of this Gem. I just hope that none of the critisims raised by some of the less than favorable reviews occur, ruining what so far has been very enjoyable.
If I do find any such problems, I will post a more critical review, but it really would be such a shame for a gem of a concept, seemingly both well designed & implemented to be ruined by some of the critical points that have been raised in other reviews.

Really excellent game-just one criticism

I was dubious about this game at first, I've played a lot of "free with in app purchase" building games and am often disappointed by the monotonous feel of each "level" and feeling that the game is just a conveyer belt of in app purchase opportunities. This game is totally different, the levels are varied and the story line is really engaging. I've not experienced any bugs (I guess they've fixed them since the last reviews!). The thing that would make this game 5 star for me is if I could pay to remove the ads. I'm enjoying the sound of cuckoos and flocks of geese and then I go to check the details of a new card and wham! I'm hit with a wall of chain saws and skulls. It really spoils it.... I would love to just give 22cans £10 and play ad free! Games cost loads to make so it's important they make money, I'd just rather pay in £ than have my eyeballs assaulted by ads.
