Customer Reviews

Brilliant, but not and Excel replacement

I use it mainly as a reference on my iPad or as a second screen so I can be working on my laptop and then referring to the information on the sheet on my iPad. I have set up shared sheets for tracking of draft invoices for work which allows me to work from home and it is therefore invaluable.

I do find myself, however, creating a sheet in Excel first and uploading and sharing or downloading to do heavy formatting and editing. Although it is similar to excel, I just feel it is quicker, easier and slicker to do it in Excel.

I use sheets as I find OneDrive dashboard and interface clunky. I love google drive.

Lacks features

Works well with frequently opened spreadsheets, but it is frustrating not being able to view folders from within the app itself - you need to go back to Google Drive all the time. Graphs and charts are displayed but cannot be created or edited - you need the browser version for this.

Love it so convenient!!

Having the option to open google sheets on my phone when I don't have my laptop on hand has literally been a god send well worth downloading!!
