Most sophisticated I've encountered

After giving it a relatively complex task involving part of a novella with a lot of first person and speech it coped very well. Significantly helping the editing. Contrary to the other reviewer this was a doc of around 8000 words that it coped with. It is a task is normally I would only attempt on my Mac.

One very minor issue. I typed ”The cat licked its paw. What it does is first change ’ its’ incorrectly to it's. Then it later flags up that it’s should be its. What's more, whilst certain words come up on the bar you don't get the chance to say the word you want is really its at the time it incorrectly changes it. Admittedly gboard and SwiftKey both changed the word to it's also and no offer to change back.

Great app on the desktop - not so great for mobile devices

I like Grammarly and use it on my Macbook Pro and Surface Pro. And the deep integration of Grammarly with Outlook and Word in Windows 10 allows me to use it within Outlook and Word.
However, on the iPad it is a whole different story. They don’t support hardware keyboards and don’t allow you to access the website from an iOS device. And since I mainly use a hardware keyboard to write longer texts on my iPad, I have no option of using their service. And this one of the two reasons, why I won’t become a subscriber any time soon. Grammarly is simply an incomplete product that is not fit for the mobile office!
Their lacking integration into Word and Outlook in MacOS being the other reason why the service is not worth it’s price, in my opinion.

A must have app!

This app is a must have, especially for anybody running a business. I have used grammerly for such a long time on my MacBook and it’s come in handy very often.
My only gripe with the App and reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because I feel that it spells words incorrectly on purpose to justify its quality as a service however I use grammarly for just that, to confirm my grammar. Whereas I use the build in apple keyboard to occasionally spell things incorrectly so that it does correct me. The autocorrect isn’t very accurate at all within this extension. With that said, it becomes as much of a hindrance as it is a help, making my workflow twice as long, however it is still extremely useful.
