Welcome to the 1980s.
From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile as Grand Theft Auto returns.
Vice City is a huge urban sprawl ranging from the beach to the swamps and the glitz to the ghetto, and is the most varied, complete and alive digital city ever created. Combining non-linear gameplay with a character driven narrative, you arrive in a town brimming with delights and degradation and are given the opportunity to take it over as you choose.

Nostalgia although a few audio issues
It's great playing a game on my Mac that I used to adore as a teenager. Vice City is a great game with the 80s theme and the Scarface references. I played this game on the PS2 and now playing it with PC controls can be confusing at first but you can check them in the options menu and adjust them yourself. Same with the graphics which were set to lowest at first but changed them to highest and it runs great on my Early 2011 Macbook Pro 8GB RAM. Recommended for any Mac users that used to enjoy this game and looking for a bit of nostalgia. The only downside is the audio/sound issues with the cutscenes and radio through the left speaker which can be easily fixed with a patch.
Its the little things that dissapoint.
As many have stated, there is a high-pitched 'noise' sound coming through the left audio channel, quite annoying when you look forward to cruising along to 80s music. I have also tried to use my PS3 controller, it connects fine but many of the buttons are completely wrong; for example, the circle button goes right, the square button goes left and the start button refuses to go to the pause menu, these little things can make a brilliant game quite an awkward and annoying experience.
Great game, shame about the audio
I have lost many hours to this game already and have no regrets whatsoever. As some people have stated there is a whinny noise that come from the left speaker, this is because the audio files are in mono form and not stereo. I easily fixed them with a patch. Don't expect to use a 360 pad either, the game doesn't understand the triggers and makes the camera go off it's head. Otherwise buy it, you will not regret it!
