The Rescue Me service can make breaking down a little less stressful.
Green Flag customers can use the breakdown app to request a rescue, and it will:
• Pinpoint your location through GPS technology, so you don’t have to explain where you’ve broken down.
• Track your technician when they are twenty minutes away.
So all you need is a smart phone, and we’ll get you back on the road.
If you break down, we’ll always be around to help.
For an extra fee of £35 per year (including insurance premium tax), our Green Flag customers can use the Green Flag Alert Me service. By monitoring your car’s battery and engine management system, you can check your app to stay clued up on:
• Your car battery’s health
• What's wrong with your car when a warning light comes on
We’ll send you a little matchbox-sized device that easily plugs into your car and constantly monitors your engine data. Any faulty information is sent straight to us over the mobile network.
And if we detect anything wrong, we’ll send an alert to your mobile letting you know what action to take.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Just been rescued
I’ve just had the pleasure of being rescued by green flag for the 2nd time since joining Green flag due to my car battery being flat outside my home. This was the first time though i’ve used the Rescue Me app and its utterly fabulous. I was notified via the app an estimated time of what time he/she was going to be arriving, then the revised exact time as when to expect them but amazingly he arrived a few moments after that notification of that time update and restarted my battery within minutes of arriving and i was off on my way.
Nothing but praise for Green Flag. ThankYou So much guys for a superb service and app AND for the gentleman who rescued me today.
Via our NatWest account we used Green Flag. My wife had a blow-out puncture driver side and was parked up on the hard shoulder of a hectic motorway. Rang Green Flag gave my NatWest account number and that was all that was required the operative said. Priority would be given as being a stranded female and also being on a motorway they would attend immediately. I rang my wife to reassure her someone would be there soon. She rang back 5 minutes later too say the ‘cavalry’ had arrived. The rescue was quickly and professionally dealt with. Cannot praise their service enough. Well done Green Flag.
Wow what a service.
I generally don’t write reviews however, I joined green flag through my insurance company (direct line) of which I have two policies a car and a van, my van recently broke down and as usual I rang expecting a 2/3 hour wait, I was amazed how quick and efficient the service was.
From the girls that answered the phone to the technician who came to recover me was nothing short of brilliant.
I would highly recommend based on my experience using green flag.
