Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
The 2011 iPhone application from the Royal Horticultural Society - Grow Your Own – is designed to help you choose and grow fruit and vegetables - however much space or time you have. The base application is free and covers the 20 most popular varieties of fruit and veg. Within the application itself you can buy additional content bundles (for £1.79 each) to extend the content of the app.
We have listened to feedback on the 2010 version, and are now making all functionality available for free on the 20 basic fruit and veg profiles.
For Users who purchased Version 2.0 last year with an in-app upgrade, you will be able to upgrade to the new version for free, and the RHS will give you Vegetables 1 and Fruit as a thank you for your loyalty and feedback.

What's New in Version 3.3
- Multiple bug fixes
- Improved syncing with iTunes store
Please make an effort ...
Okay - we had to wait over a year and a half for the latest upgrade and all they've done is "bug fixes and syncing with iTunes". Have the developers read any of the feedback on this app?
If you won't offer any more veg or fruit options then give us a template to create our own. Better still, let us submit these to you and if RHS validate them then allow us to share them over iCloud.
Seriously, this stagnation reflects badly on the RHS which, over virtually every other platform constantly updates and improves the information it provides.
Get your act together!
I do not know the first thing about gardening but wanted an app that would tell me when to plant veg etc and this app dose all that and more. Just what I needed how perhaps I can start freeing my owe
Agree with the other comments - a job half done. Also I used it last year and completed all my tasks but can't just reuse the same plant list for this year without manually going through the whole year and un-ticking all the tasks individually! Sent a note to App Support but no response. Poor.
