Customer Reviews

Very good, but...

An excellent app. I took the test and it said I had some hearing loss. Got checked out and found that both ears were totally blocked with impacted wax. Following treatment I took the test again and got the all clear.

Now got the minus points. I used headphones. I put them on and set the volume. I then took the test which ended with, now test the other ear! Nowhere does it say that the ears are being tested individually. Yes I'm sure it's common sense but when you're wearing headphones it's not so obvious. I had to restart the test. Only a minor point, but an irritation when you've just sat thru it all.
Perhaps the text instructions could make it clear.

Very reassuring

I had a hearing test from a tinnitus specialist 1 week ago, but currently live abroad and wasn't 100% about what he said due to the language barrier. He assured me I have no hearing damage, but downloaded this app just to double check.
Sure enough the app effectively told me that I have no noticeable damage to my hearing, and the setup of the app is very clear and easy to use.
The spoken number system is very effective, and typing in the numbers on the key pad is direct and straightforward.

Quite useful

I found the hearing tests in this app quite good and have been designed well.
I think the person who complained about headphone problems must not have selected them correctly, as I used headphones and told the app that I was and it switched from one ear to the other itself.
Also when it asks for your email and full address, if you don't answer anything and just click next it still gives you your results.
