Home is the only full featured HomeKit app on the App Store which supports all HomeKit features – including the new automation features in iOS 11. You can control all your HomeKit accessories from different manufacturers in one app.

Home allows you to automate your accessories using triggers. For example you can raise the temperature in your living room if the temperature drops below 68°F and somebody is at home.

You can control multiple accessories at once using Groups. For example you can turn on all lights in the living room and set the brightness to 50%.

Your most important services, groups and scenes can be marked as favorite. Favorites are listed in the Today View and on Apple Watch.

Use Quick Actions to execute your scenes right from the Home screen. Take a quick look at your accessories using Peek and Pop.

Outlets and light bulbs can now be control using swipe actions. You can toggle the power state by swiping to the left. Swiping to the right lets you quickly change the brightness of lights.

The Home app only works with HomeKit compatible accessories.

Needs improvement but the support is great

It’s a good app to create complex automations but be really careful when sorting the automations as you might end up accidentally deleting some automations (and their linked scenes). Been in touch with the support and they are willing to improve. Hope to see improvements as the app could easily deserve 5*

Kinda need Apple TV...

This is the most full featured HomeKit app by far, blowing the competition out of the water. It lets you control pretty much anything that HomeKit's API allows, and add any HomeKit device, it would really be worth the £11.
Except for one thing: Triggers need Apple TV!
Ok, that's not strictly true. Time based triggers do not need remote access via Apple TV, but location based ones do! I understand that this is in no way the developer's fault, hence why I don't allow it to affect the rating much, but I am quite irritated that it doesn't state this clearly in the description.
I'm contemplating requesting a refund, but I feel bad since it's not really his fault, it's Apple's. It just seems misleading that Triggers, a feature missing from most other apps and one of this one's key selling points, is limited mainly to Apple TV owners and this wasn't clearly stated before purchase.
If you own an Apple TV and a few HomeKit compatibly products like Hue lights then buy this app, it's well worth the slightly lofty price. But those like me without an Apple TV, please beware that you won't be able to activate location-based HomeKit triggers...

Very verbal app with no icons. Everything, including the Today screen is achieved non-graphically. Developer says there are no plans to change this. No matter because now other apps have caught up with triggers, which was what justified the price of this app. Quite tedious setting scenes with this app - I use other apps to do that. Triggers are somewhat useless anyway in HomeKit unless you live alone because the iPhone must be present for anything to happen as scheduled. HomeKit seems to be in denial about this limitation, with no apparent solution to the more common scenario that two or more people live together and don't want all lights off or on depending on whether just one member of the household is present or not. So the USP of this app (more advanced triggers) is really only useful if you live alone. Not a pretty app and not worth the price given Elgato app and others that are simpler and more graphic.
