Ratings and Reviews
Great game idea but completely and utterly ruined by ads, and don't skip over this review thinking its just another guy moaning about ads. The ads make the game nearly unplayable. Banners and such I don't mind, but half of the time when you die, a delayed ad pops up over the retry option so you are continuously being redirected to the App Store looking at some crappy app that you have no interest in at all. And this is no infrequent event. The game is not the easiest and until you get the hang of it you can expect to be double tapping that home button and switching back to the app several times per minute. Sort it out get rid of stupid pop up ads in games. We all hate them and I have taken to specifically ignoring anything that is advertised in this way regardless of whether I would have liked the app or not. If it's a pop up image redirect, then I'm not supporting it, and you shouldn't either. Our media is being populated with evermore intrusive and irritating ads, and we shouldn't have to put up with it.
Edit: Developer response. Wow I totally forgot about this review. I am sure the ads in question were just from a buggy version of the game. I am not opposed to ads in general as I understand the need to make money from free games. It was just the intrusive and involuntary nature of the ads in question that was so irritating. I shall update my rating. Thanks for the response.
Thanks Camderman for your passionate review. You're right and we agree that ads suck and need to perform better if they're going to stay. We're working with our ad partners on this, who we need to work with in order to financially support the game, our lives, our families, and keep our jobs.
The ads should never be accidental clicks and we have since released an update fixing this.
Thanks again for your review, and keep up the good fight, we'll keep it up on our side too.
Good game but flawed
The game is very good and addictive but there are a few issues which put me off. Firstly the game freezes A LOT! After every few games it just gets stuck on the same screen and I have to exit the app and close it to play again. Secondly the ads are badly positioned and cause you to keep pressing them, taking you away from the game. The other thing is that some of the gaps are impossible to get through, it would be nice to at least be able to make it through even if it was difficult. If these things were fixed it would be a 5 star app all day. Reminds me of flappy bird
Addictive and annoying
Too many people whining about it being too hard and clearly can't play it properly, I've managed 76, it gets easier to further you go.
I think a lot of people are right in saying the ads are annoying, they are, they're also too frequent.
