Freezing up my I pad.
I really do like the Google search App and have been using it in preference to Safari.
Unfortunately it has started to become problematic to the extent that I will have to find an alternative for my searches.
The problem comes if you tap any text on a web page. This causes the page to freeze requiring me to leave the app and start the search again. I have tried the usual fixes to no avail, closing the app, resetting my I pad and re installing the Google app. This issue does not manifest itself with any other app. Because it is so easy to accidentally select text when scrolling, thus causing a freeze, it has rendered the app very frustrating. Please fix this Google, as I know I an not alone with this problem!
Sort out the Freezing, guys!
I have been having this problem a lot on the iPod Touch, but also on the iPad. It seems that every time I want to look at a site or navigate through it, either the links refuse to work or the site itself refuses to scroll.
I might consider uninstalling the app and using Safari instead.

When I open one of the news cards, it frequently gives me a pop-up saying I've won an iPhone (lucky me!) instructing me to tap 'OK' before I can read the article. Going to same webpage in Safari does not give the pop-up. Sort it out, most-valuable-company-in-the-world
