Great idea but ruined by a bug

I was really pleased to see this on the App Store as I used to love this on PC, sadly it’s ruined by a catastrophic bug.

A few of the controls could be better but that’s forgivable given the overall quality of the game, what’s unforgivable though is the that the game glitches, crashes and quits at exactly the same point, always during the computers turn. Sadly this makes the game unplayable as you can’t progress beyond a certain point at the game.

I expect active glitch fixes and updates for a paid app that’s clearly making the developer money..

Great, nostalgic game

This is a great recreation of the original, with loads of replay potential. Whilst I’ve seen occasional glitches, for about 95% of the time it plays fine for me. There were a couple of levels on the challenge games that were unplayable due to crashes, so I skipped them and that’s what cost this game a star. That, and the occasional problem where I’ll tap to jump forward and my worm will backflip into some water, or vice versa. That’s a bit annoying. But overall a great bit of 90s nostalgia.

Unstable

Loved this game as a kid, was buzzing to see this in the app store. However lots of flaws. Mainly being that the game just crashes during game play. Which is so so frustrating, especially when your in a good position of progressing to the next challenge. Also the cpu worms hit the target 99% of the time making it difficult to progress in certain levels, even if well hidden they will just throw a grenade and bounce it off 3 or 4 walls for it to land directly against your worm. Nice graphics, funny as ever sounds but for a paid game need the flaws sorting
