An iOS classic
Every now and then you download a game for 69p or £1.49 and it amazes you how great it is, for this tiny price you can get an exceptional gem of a game. Swordigo is to me an iOS classic.
A lot of areas to visit, great graphics and gameplay. To me its a mix of Contra/Ghost n Goblins/Metroid and Mario land. I'm loving it, please please dont wait to get this, support the dev and get it as if this sells well i cant wait to see if they'll do a sequel in the future. An exceptional game and one of those games where i'm happy as hell i bought an ipod. Top marks to the team who created this.
Its now late 2013 and i cant believe they havent done a sequel to this game. Strange. Please Touch Foo do it !
Why swordigo is amazing
I rarely spend money on apps for my iPod touch and because of this I often find myself surfing through the free apps, especially the games. Swordigo was one of the names that caught my attention, so when I was done with my search I had a look at it. The pictures intrigued me and so I downloaded it. All I can say is that I was awe struck. The graphics were superior to most other games I played and the actual contend and story line didn't fail to impress. It is by far my favourite app and I would recommend it to people of any age. I would rate it 10/10, truly spectacular.
Well worth downloading
I'm always impressed by how much gaming has developed in the past 20-30 years. At first, I was impressed at how good this was considering I was playing it on my phone.
The thing about Swordigo is, the more you play, the more you realise that this is a genuinely good game, irrespective of whether it's an app or not.
The graphics are decent, the gameplay simple but challenging, and the worlds are nicely designed. The AI is a little predictable, and the game does suffer from being slightly too easy to complete, but there are plenty of infuriatingly tricky bits that keep you interested, and nice little upgrade options that allow you to have some input in how you progress.
Overall this is a superb game that manages to harness some of the old school charm that made games like Mario so popular, whilst keeping it simple enough that anyone can enjoy it.
Well worth every penny.
