What's New in Version 1.28
- Fixes for iOS 8
Good gameplay, but......
I played this twice through. First time ran out of gold quickly, second time bought nothing and sold everything that I could. You run out of gold at level 5/6. It cost 10k gold to level to level 6/7 and it costs £7/8 to buy 18k gold. So, you run dungeons without being able to level trying to get gold to level up. It is far too much to play for the gold to level. So, it is good for a while, then becomes a hassle. I would rather pay more the game, than the usual try to get you hooked and sting you for a lot of cash to continue.
Another in-app rip off game
I rarely write reviews so it takes something special for me to devote my time to do so but this game annoys the hell out of me.
This would be a great game if you you didn't need to take out a mortgage to play it to any great degree. You start with only four adventurers and can not add/earn rewards to increase the number of adventurers. You have to purchase them via an in- app purchase. In addition there are items that have to bought with real money to effectively advance in the game. I am sick to death of greedy developers trying to rinse gamers with in-app purchase. Sell me a game - even at £10/20 quid and then leave me to it. Stop trying to dip into my wallet every time I play the game. Avoid .
iAP in overdrive
Enjoyed the game initially and the graphics and lighting are excellent. It gets repetitive very soon and feels sluggish and slow to play - it needs some rapid-fire mode and less of the triple/quadruple tapping to fire. The 9 little micro-story levels are over almost immediately and what's left now? Nothing, just more of the same, a slow boring crawl to find 10k, 20k, etc credits to level up or the iAP madness to pay again as others have mentioned. As many others have said here, include the game in the price, don't try to persuade us with iAP tactics - my iPad has a self-imposed iAPs banned.
