NOTE: This app is designed to help you monitor your water intake, but common sense is always advised. The amounts suggested in this app are based on recognised guidelines but vary per individual so exercise caution when following suggested water intake regimes.
What's New in Version 3.9
So we missed a few key things and some little gremlins got in as well... fear not!
- You can set your own target if you want to (and by the reviews, some of you REALLY do!), simply head to the target settings, turn on the manual option and choose your own amount.
- You can now see how much you've drunk and not just how hydrated you are! #knowledgeispower
- We've fixed the automatic date formatting based on your device so now if your phone is set to 12 hr time, then iDrated should follow suit.
- We've also fixed the issue on the history screen where the values and units could get mixed up, well not any more, it's all working luvvly jubbly!
Good app. Bad icon.
Really well designed app. Beautiful really. A joy to use.
But I have a few issues with the placement of data…
-Total Drank should be opposite Target Amount.
-Last Drink should be opposite Next Drink.
My suggestion? Keep the Right column as is, slide the Left column up one but keep the Undo button as is.
-The %Hydrated section should be a pie chart instead of just numbers or superimposed on the water volume in the human body graphic.
-Make it easier and quicker to select water amounts. At the moment you have to carefully and delicately scroll up/down and there is no lock or slow down when you reach certain amounts. Have lines or tap targets or something to select 250ml, 500ml, 750ml and 1 litre quicker. Some others may prefer to have select amounts depending on their container/cup of choice. Or let the app be smart and auto-suggest the most common previously entered amounts.
-The day ends at 12 midnight whether you want it to or not. Make this user definable for us night owls or shift workers.
-No email link to developers. That's why I'm writing all this here.
Until then, it's a solid 4 Star app and waaaaaybetter than the others out there. Keep up the good work!!
The notification element of this app almost makes it impossible for you to miss your target water intake. Since downloading this I've consistently drunk more water on a daily basis. The small gamification element works well prompting you to hit your target to earn your badges. A great app well worth the money. One small build would be to allow more than one person on the app - so my partner for example - you can then see how you are jointly doing and adds in a further element of competition!
Makes you drink water
I've tried many times to drink water regularly. Problem is I just forget to do it. This app has changed all that. Since 1-Jan (yep, it was one of those resolutions) I've not missed the daily target. I sleep better, wake better and my kids tell me I look younger. I have put on 2kg of water weight but that's just because I was dehydrated. Oh, and a nagging shoulder injury from a squash game a year ago has miraculously cleared-up. I think I recommend this app to you!!
