iHomeTouch is an innovative home automation app to use with your X10 enabled home. With its intuitive interface, the entire family will no longer struggle to use your X10 devices. We've made it our mission to create an app that's simple to use, innovative and feature rich.
iHomeTouch utilises the iDevices' camera and Image Library to create Rooms. Rooms can have multiple buttons which are defined by pressing your finger on the screen. That area can be preset to turn on any of your X10 devices.
Touch to Turn On / Off / Dim or Brighten:
Simply by touching the photo, you can turn a device on or off and even adjust the brightness.
iHomeTouch works in both portrait and landscape orientation, but it's in landscape, that the app really comes to life in. So much so that, we believe, you'll want to mount your iPhone/iPod Touch and iPads on the wall as dedicated home automation remote controls.

Showing real promise
I've just installed and started playing with this app (v2). Our house has quite a lot of X10 built in and I already had a CM15 interface set up. So loading this app and basic config only took 10 mins. Setting it up properly will take a while. I really like its photo based set up (will need to take some decent pics) and it sets up quite rapidly.
I look forward to some of the advertised updates (performance). Some of the interface actions are a bit clunky (dimmer dialogue doesn't go back to on/off...) and I'd like to get the sync across devices (phones and iPads) working. But so far, very much the neatest X10 automation app I've seen on the Apple platforms.
Good stuff. Keep it going please.
Has basic functionality, but not good value
This app is a rip off at £5. I got it working but it took a while to figure out. Worst thing is sync does not work and I have an ipad 1 so photo idea is flawed. Photos are rubbish anyway. It rotates and stretches them. Interface is confusing, have to keep rotating the phone. X10 Commander is much better value. It works reliably and you set up the devices on the server app so all your devices can access it without having to sync. Good idea, badly executed.
Great X10 remote.
My wife and I use this app every day on the iPhone and iPad. It's great and works just fine. The recent updates have addressed problems that existed before and now it's a must have app. I'm looking forward to future updates.
