I dont like giving bad reviews but it wasnt what i was expecting, i think the blurb bit should tell you more about what you are actually going to be doing, i dont feel like there is any skill involved but maybe i am just missing the point?

Fun, engrossing, keep discovering new depths in strategy

A classic example of 'simple to pick up, difficult to master'. Highly recommended if you like calm, strategic games.

Perhaps his best yet

I'm a big fan of Michael's previous games - Zaga-33 and 868-HACK in particular. So far, I'm thinking this might be his best (which surprise me, given how highly I rate Zaga). Again, it's a micro-subversion of what is 'Rogue-like', with its own distinct ruleset and ideas - and it works brilliantly. Actually, I found this the most quickly understandable of Michael's games... and I feel like it's going to have more longevity than 868-HACK. Basically, if you're a fan, you won't be disappointed. If you weren't a fan, I think it's just possible that this, with its fresh visual style, might change your mind.
