iMovie 10.1.1 ***** Appoligie to Apple *****

iMovie 10.1.1
What your about to read is my first review. ( Worse thing I did was download: Don’t make the same mistake ! Apple you should hang your heads in shame, in the end, I don’t really think you care or you do something about it would'ent you ? No seems not, the bad reviews are still being applied.

This is was what I said, just a few days ago from this date; Mon 2 May 2016. Well I had an update after the first review only one or two days later. This update plus the review from ( TharBeDragon ) Please search the review writer name his information is key to you opening this software to get full advantage of all the settings. I would like to thank apple retract what I said in my first review with appoligie from me.

If you go into your settings once you open iMovie preference settings there you will find lots of un-cheaked settings these need to be set, once you do this, you will have a whole new experience with this software. ***** Thanks Apple You Do Care ! ***** Yes I was wrong and am willing too put it right. Thanks for update and info on reviews. I personally would like to thank ( TharBeDragon ) for his review and recommend you should ALL read it was very helpful. Well done Apple top marks thanks so much for the update really pleased !

The best version of iMovie yet

While there are some things that could be improved, I think this is the best version of iMovie Apple has ever made. The interface looks fantastic (even professional), the layout is logical and it has a lot of features for a consumer-grade product. Creating movies is quick thanks to the useful keyboard shortcuts and background processing (no need to sit and wait while it imports video for example).

Your experience will improve massively if you learn a few of the basic keyboard shortcuts, like ‘I, ‘O’ and ‘R’ for selecting clips, ‘E’, ‘Q’ and ‘W’ for inserting etc. I don’t like how you now must use the ‘R’ key to select a range, because it’s not intuitive. But once you know about it, it works well. iMovie also sometimes stops responding when I try to quit, but it’s not a major issue.

I bought my MAC in 2011, it came with iMovie installed, and it worked well with my JVC hard disc camcorder. However the latest version has proved to be completely unuseable. When i connect my camera it takes about 75 minutes to load thumbnails and the “import all” tab only works for about 50% of the thumbnails the rest are reported as ‘not on camera’ or ‘ camera not connected’ and are shown as a black box.
I want my old version back please!!! At least it worked for me.
Oh well back to microsoft media player. Hard luck Apple.
