Description

InkPad Notepad is the simple, elegant, easy way to keep notes on your phone, or on the web.

Once upon a time, you had to write down notes in a paper notepad and carry it around with you. If you wrote a shopping list or to do list, you might go to the store and discover you had forgotten your notepad. But how often do you forget to bring your mobile phone with you? Introducing InkPad, the notepad you’ll only forget as often as your phone!

Inkpad Notepad let's you access your notes online on our website. You can create or edit notes from the convenience of your computer's web browser, and always have access to your notes from your phone when you're offline too.

CREATE NOTES
InkPad is designed to look like a paper notepad, and is just as simple to use. When you open InkPad, you’ll see a list of all notes you’ve created. To add a new note, tap on the “+” button at the bottom of the screen.

CREATE TO DO LIST
Create a note as usual, then select the "to do list" button at the top of the note screen.

CREATE SHOPPING LIST

EDIT NOTE OR TO DO LIST
Now you can write your note. Just like a paper notepad, you don’t have to do anything special to save your notes, they are auto-saved for you.

SAVE
As mentioned above, notes are auto-saved. You don’t have to do anything special to save them.

SYNC NOTES ONLINE
Inkpad Notepad lets you sync/backup notes online. You can access your online notes on our website by signing in with the same account you selected in the mobile app.

SEARCH YOUR NOTES OR TO DO LISTS
Inkpad Notepad now gives you an option to search your notes or to do lists. From the home screen, tap on the search icon, then begin writing. As you write, the list of notes will be filtered to only display notes containing the search keyword. Press the "X" button to clear the note search, and view all notes as usual.

SHARE NOTES
At the bottom of each note is a “share” button. Tapping it brings up all the ways to share. Typical ways include email, SMS, etc.

To change a notes title, tap on the title area at the top of that note.

Easy to use

InkPad is an easy to use app that's simple and productive.

The notepad itself has a tutorial at the beginning to show you around, which helps with some of the more complicated parts of the app. You can search for notes if you have a lot of them, scroll through them, sort them by a-z and date, and quickly type your next note after adding it.

You can change the colour of your page from plain white, lined white and lined yellow (I personally use the yellow) and choose your font and it's size out of a wide selection.

If you would like to access your notes on another device you will need to create an account, but this is an easy process which is, overall, optional.

I haven't had a massive problem with ads - unlike some other apps - as the only one is near the top of the screen and easily ignorable.

The only reason I think this isn't a 5 star is a small pet peeve of mine, when you open new notes the lines don't show up. I'm guessing this is a glitch, but I would prefer not to vote 5 stars on an app that's glitched - whether it's large or small.

I do use this app slightly less than the original Notepad that comes with an iPhone, if only because the original is cleaner. However when making a list I immediately go to InkPad for its bullet points and shopping list, where you can click on the shopping cart button to look up your item online in 2 clicks.

Overall, InkPad is a very good app and hasn't let me down so far.

Tom

Have been using this app for about 18 months approx and and installed on my iPad Air2. right from the start it did what I wanted perhaps I should say there won't be any 6's in my next 5 birthdays. It's got to be simple with no junk type rubbish thrown at me, the big boys want to own all our information and I see a great big crash coming in the internet source of information. This app is brilliant and I hope it stays that way.

Disappointed

I’m frustrated and disappointed with this app! 24 hours after I made notes. Most of the content disappeared. I thought it was a one off, but unfortunately it’s not. I won’t trust this app to make important notes. I shouldn’t have to email my notes to me every time I write them, out of fear of the unreliability of this app. And I don’t want to back the notes up online! A notes app should be able to store all the notes within the app!! I can’t continue to waste my time with this app! So back to the drawing board I go, to find an app that works!
