Procrastination Pro

I think this would be great if you have a gym available and already go regularly. My problem with it was that I knew what exercises I wanted to do, but it was so time consuming to set up a single workout by adding exercises from their pre loaded list and having to add custom exercises that weren't included already. The interface has potential but was initially unintuitive.

For my first workout I was focussing on chest and triceps. Got off to a poor start because my multi-gym has a seat and straight, fixed back support, and I couldn't find Machine sitting bench press or equivalent and thus had to write it in as custom exercise. The app gets a big plus from me by giving you ideas as to what exercises you can do for each muscle group, and showing a little animation of the exercise and proper form. I titled this procrastination pro because it was taking so long to set up my first workout, I gave up and used pen and paper. That way, I keep a little notebook with my exercise equipment and can easily record exercise, sets, reps, weight and rest times without scrolling through endless alphabetical list.

This app has a lot of potential and a lot of work has clearly gone into it. By all means give it a go: def worth trying. It's just not for me. Sorry.

Love it

Love this app - been going to gyms for years & after only two weeks I'd already be lost without this app. Contains a great range of exercises - which are clearly illustrated by moving pictures - as well as being able to program in your own. Best of all you can program in your workouts & log your results after each set (it will also prompt you with your most recent previous logs for the same exercise). Also love the great big countdown timer when resting between sets. You can set your default preferences for number of sets & rest time - which of course you can flex mid routine anyway. All this on the free version.

Brilliant

I like every single feature of this app. I literally downloaded 50 work-out apps over the weekend and none of them meet my needs as much as this app. Most have stupid in-app purchases that haven't given me a good reason to pay for extra services. I like this app because I can track and really see my progress, and I'm going to purchase the pro app. Would recommend!
