A friend of mine said that there are no game-type apps on the AppStore with realistic water physics... so I wrote this!
This is a fun jet-skiiing game with pretty realistic water physics. And the rider is wearing a nice bikini ! Have fun!
The embarassing distant relative of X-Plane.
The introduction says: "A friend of mine said that there are no game-type apps on the AppStore with realistic water physics... so I wrote this!".
Well, as much as I am in awe of Mr Meyer for X-Plane I have to say that (in my humble opinion at least) the number of game-type apps on the AppStore with realistic water physics has not increased through the release of this app.
Comparing X-Plane to Jet-Skier is like comparing the joy of writing on high quality paper with a finely-balanced and almost effortless fountain-pen with the frustrations of scratching a mesage onto a rock with the blunt end of a burned stick.
I didn't get any sense of involvement or anticipation from the renderings of the waves and the jet-ski seemed happy to buzz through all sea-states.
Maybe I didn't 'get it'. Maybe its not for me. Having tipped several people over the 'buy' decision for an iPad with a quick demonstration of X-Plane I was underwhelmed by Jet-skier and, for the first time ever, compelled to write a review.
More games like this please
I like water based games like this any chance of making a turbine boat simulator something like miss geico or similar
And maybe a throttle lever like in x plane
Do not buy!
Do not buy on I pad-graphics terrible. Big let down from x-plane for iPad.
