NEEDS AN UPDATE
I used to play this game on my PC, and it has always been addictive and fun. I was thrilled to find it in the App Store and the play was brilliant. That is until I came to exit. The message 'are you sure you want to quit' comes up, you say yes and then everything freezes. I had to turn off my iMac at the mains as the only way to get out of it. Be warned. This needs an urgent update to put right.
Enjoyable puzzle game
Playing the game is fun, on starting the game on my Mac Mini (early 2009) it gives a warning saying it's not been tested on Mac Mini, but the game seems to run fine. As I only have a smallish 18" widescreen monitor rather than anything "full HD", it may be working because the resolution isn't turned way up, but it looks good and plays without freezing.
Disastrous - should not be in App store
This app is unuseable on a Macbook Pro, running Yosemite,or any previous OS. The graphics are just a blurry psychedelic mess - it looked like it had crashed my graphics card at first - I only just managed to identify the exit button. If you visit Jewel Quest support as recommended above - you just get informed that there’s no supprt for Mac. What the hell is it doing in the App Store. Can’t even get my money back (for what it’s worth).
Avoid like the plague - or get a PC as it’s clearly only designed for Windows.
